is a Canadian Industrial Designer specializing in furniture and home accessory design.  In 2000 he graduated with a Bachelor of Design degree in Industrial Design from the University of Alberta where he studied painting, furniture and product design.  Following graduation Thomas spent time in Denmark studying filmmaking.

Thomas’ experience includes: ongoing design work with Moen Woodworks (an innovative manufacturer of library furnishings) where four of his designs are in production, the manufacturing departments at Hothouse Design Studio and Bensen, and as an interior designer at the Edmonton and Coquitlam IKEA stores.  In addition, Thomas is an active member of IDEA- The Industrial Designers of Edmonton Association, where he participates in the design of IDEA’s annual exhibits: FROST + THAW.

Thomas’ work experience has defined a clear design vision:

“I enjoy being a part of the whole process from initial ideation to final product.  Being on the shop floor is as important to me as doing the first concept sketches.  My priority is to produce well-designed objects with a seamless integration of function and manufacturability that also take into account economy of material and environmental concerns.”

Thomas currently lives and works in Vancouver B.C. where he can

often be found hiking, biking, jogging, wall climbing, working out,

or painting.
